Daily cases hit all-time high of 28,707

THE Department of Health reported 28,707 Covid-19 cases on Sunday, January 9, the highest number recorded in a single day since the pandemic hit in March 2020.

The January 9 cases surpassed the 26,458 cases reported last Saturday. The DoH also reported 2,579 additional recoveries and 15 deaths.
