THE Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has set up free emergency communications stations equipped with Wi-Fi and charging stations to serve residents in Typhoon "Odette"-hit areas in northern Mindanao.

The KonekTawag Centers will provide residents with free emergency communications to be utilized until the restoration of commercial telecommunication services in affected areas, DICT Secretary Emmanuel Rey Caintic said.
