BACOLOD CITY: Negros Occidental has imposed travel restrictions anew amid rising cases of coronavirus in the country and the detection of the Omicron variant.
Effective January 9, travelers from areas under Alert Level 3, whether vaccinated or not, will be required to present a negative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) result no later than 72 hours prior to the approval of their Safe, Swift, and Smart Passage (S-PaSS) application, Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson said in an interview.
