THE government is set to begin vaccinations for children aged 5 to 11 years old by February once the supply of the vaccines for the age group arrives in the latter part of the month, according to two officials of the Department of Health (DoH).

According to Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire, the government, through National Task Force Against Covid-19 implementers Carlito Galvez Jr. and Vivencio Dizon, has already started negotiations with Pfizer to make the deliveries of the vaccine in order to begin the inoculations by next month.
