DoTr proposes P19.8B to fund road transport sector projects in 2022

THE Department of Transportation (DoTr) has proposed over P19.8 billion budget to fund various road transport sector projects nationwide for the year 2022, but only P1 million for the sector was approved to be included in the National Expenditure Program (NEP) for 2022.

The Transportation department proposed P13.2 billion, while foreign-assisted projects (FAPs) amounted to P6.61 billion.
