THE Department of Education (DepEd), together with the BDO Foundation Inc. and Huawei Technologies Philippines Inc., launched the search for the best supplemental learning materials in the teaching of defined key concepts in science and mathematics to strengthen financial literacy in basic education.

'We are glad, and we fully support that we are including financial literacy. We are trying to teach our learners the basic concepts of financial literacy so that they will also know how to manage their finances, especially in these trying times,' Education Secretary Leonor Briones noted.
