Red Cross gives multipurpose cash grants to help 'Maring' victims recover

TWO months after the onslaught of Typhoon 'Maring' (international name: 'Kompasu') in La Union and other parts of the country, residents have yet to recover from the damage brought by the typhoon.

The Philippine Red Cross (PRC), with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross, conducted on Dec. 28, 2021, a multipurpose cash grant (MPCG) in the province of La Union and Ilocos Sur to 628 most vulnerable families greatly affected by Maring.
