Duterte vows to increase medical volunteers' allowance

PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday vowed to increase the special risk allowance (SRA) of medical volunteers to entice more graduates from different medical-related courses to help with the government response.

This, as the Chief Executive acknowledges the dwindling number of health care workers manning the country's fight against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
