A PHILIPPINE Offshore Gaming Operations (POGO) licensee and its service provider has been shut down by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) for failing to register with the tax agency.
Imperial Choice Ltd. (Imperial) and its accredited service provider Aplus Acce Inc. (Aplus) were both closed by the BIR on Wednesday for failing to register as required by Section 236 of the Tax Code and the newly enacted Republic Act 11590 or "POGO Law," as implemented by Revenue Regulations (RR) 20-2021.
