Obiena expelled from national team

THE administrative committee tasked to probe the alleged nonpayment of Ernest John 'EJ' Obiena's Ukrainian coach and the alleged falsification of liquidation reports has recommended the removal of the Olympian pole vaulter from the national training pool of the Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association (Patafa).

This was announced by Patafa, led by its president Philip Ella Juico and chairman Rep. Rufus Rodriguez, on Tuesday in a virtual press conference.
