THE Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) warned that consumer prices will rise in the near future because of supply disruptions and agricultural damage caused by Typhoon "Odette." "The supply disruptions and agricultural damages from Typhoon Odette will likely result in a temporary uptick in the prices of food items and other necessities over the near term," BSP Governor Benjamin Diokno told journalists on Wednesday through Viber.
