Environmental group Oceana is calling for the full implementation of the laws in sustainably managing the country's fisheries and marine resources, with high hopes small-scale fishers will get the abundant catch they deserve.
In a statement, Oceana highlighted the need to forge stronger partnerships with government, civil society organizations, including the academe, and fisherfolk that came about in 2021.
