PHLPost releases Jose Rizal stamps

TO mark the 125th death anniversary of national hero Dr. Jose Rizal, the Philippine Postal Corp. (PHLPost) will release today, Dec. 30, 2021, postage stamps with the subject 'Rizal: Para sa Agham, Katotohanan at Buhay' (Rizal: For Science, Truth and Life).

Rizal was born in the town of Calamba, Laguna on June 19, 1861. He was a versatile scholar best remembered for his two novels, Noli Me Tangere (Touch Me Not) and El Filibusterismo (The Subversive).
