Pacquiao urges Juico: Step down

SEN. Emmanuel 'Manny' Pacquiao asked Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association President Philip Ella Juico to step down after he was chastised by the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) in connection with the controversy involving pole vaulter Ernest John 'EJ' Obiena.

Pacquiao said the decision of the POC, headed by Cavite Rep. Abraham Tolentino, declaring Juico persona non grata 'is a great morale booster for athletes like Obiena who worked really hard to bring pride and honor for the country.'
