Labor dept allots P100M for workers in typhoon-hit regions

THE Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) allotted P100 million for informal sector workers in regions severely affected by Typhoon 'Odette' (international name: 'Rai').

Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello 3rd said that the department will provide emergency employment to 25,000 workers in the hardest-hit regions in the Visayas, Northern Mindanao and Caraga.
