THE Philippines received recognition from the International Awards for Liveable Cities and Communities (LivCom) after Guba National High School (GHNS) in Negros Oriental bagged the First Silver Prize for the Environmentally Sustainable Project category.
The project featured enhancing landscapes and public spaces using various eco-friendly materials that could encourage more students and residents to recycle plastic wastes and other reusable items.
