DepEd encourages teachers, parents to use Reading Progress Tool for learners

To cultivate and assess learners' reading skills, the Department of Education (DepEd) encouraged teachers, parents and other reading specialists to use the Reading Progress Tool introduced during the orientation on the activities for the National Reading Month.

With the theme 'Bawat Bata Bumabasa sa Kabila ng Hamon ng Pandemya' (Every child can read despite the pandemic challenges), this year's National Reading Month, celebrated every November, promoted the love for reading among learners.
