'Cebu needs more help'

SEN. Francis 'Kiko' Pangilinan visited and distributed food packs and cash assistance to several families affected by Typhoon 'Odette' ('Rai') in Cebu province on Thursday, December 23. He was accompanied by his celebrity wife, Sharon Cuneta.

Senator Pangilinan, who is the candidate for vice president of the opposition Liberal Party in the 2022 national elections, also committed to donating more relief assistance but noted that four non-working wharves, non-available RoRo ships and ships ran aground pose delivery difficulties for bulk donations intended for those affected by the category 5 typhoon in Cebu.
