WITH the cancellation of IBF junior bantamweight champion Jerwin Ancajas' December 31 unification showdown with WBO counterpart Kazuto Ioka, there is no longer any major world title fight left involving a Filipino boxer, thus bringing to a close the country's campaign in the international fight scene for 2021.

Officially, the country is winding up its campaign with four full-fledged world champions in WBC bantamweight king Nonito Donaire Jr., WBO bantamweight champ John Riel Casimero, IBF junior bantamweight champ Ancajas and IBF minumumweight king Rene Mark Cuarto.
