THE Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) reported that it continued to pay hospital reimbursements, having released a total of P165.8 billion in claims from January 2020 to date.
In view of the challenges brought about by the pandemic in its operations, the state agency had implemented the debit-credit payment method (DCPM) to allow the fast release of funds to qualified hospitals nationwide that have signified intention to avail of the new payment mechanism while PhilHealth processed their claims.
