THE Department of Trade and Industry on Tuesday again urged the Senate to affirm the Philippines' participation in the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) agreement.
The free trade pact, signed by the 10-member Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) and five free trade partners (AFPs) in November last year, will take effect at the start of 2022 following ratification by six Asean states and all AFPs.
