Death toll from 'Odette' up to 156 – NDRRMC

THE number of fatalities due to the onslaught of Typhoon 'Odette' (international name; Rai) has gone up to 156, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said.

Mark Timbal, NDRRMC spokesman, clarified though that of the said figure, only nine have been confirmed and the rest are up for validation.
