BDO to issue sustainability bonds

BDO Unibank Inc. said it is planning to issue Peso-denominated Fixed-Rate Sustainability Bonds with a minimum aggregate issue size of P5 billion as its third issuance of its P365 billion bond program.

In a statement on Monday, BDO said the net proceeds of the issuance will be used to diversify the bank's funding sources and finance and/or refinance eligible assets as defined in its Sustainable Finance Framework.
