7 suspects jailed in China mining mishap

SHANXI: At least two people trapped in a flooded coal mine that left 21 people stranded in a mine well in Xiaoyi, North China's Shanxi Province were rescued on Friday afternoon, two days after the accident occurred.

The first person was rescued at 2:15 p.m. and sent to the People's Hospital of Xiaoyi. The second was rescued at 3:01 p.m. More are currently being rescued.
