CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: Surigao City remained isolated on Sunday, four days after Typhoon Odette lashed the northeastern provinces of Mindanao.
Maj. Francisco Garello, Jr., head of the army's Public Affairs Office, confirmed that Surigao City could only be reached by satellite phone. The extent of damage to life and property remained unknown.
