SECURITY Bank forecasts the Philippine economy to grow by 6.5 percent next year as Covid-19 restrictions are eased and the local vaccination program against the virus continues.
"Our key view for the 2022 outlook is that the economy will be lifted by normalizing activities. We're expecting the economy to grow by 6.5 percent year on year next year," Security Bank chief economist Robert Dan Roces said in a virtual briefing on Friday.
