PH gets $250-M additional AIIB loan

THE Philippines' request for additional funding from China's Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) of $250 million (about P12.54 billion) for the purchase of vaccines against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) has been approved.

'Yes [it] was approved last night,' Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez 3rd announced in a Viber message on Friday.
