CALAMBA CITY, Laguna: In an electronic raffle conducted by the Commission on Elections, Ang Probinsyano party-list was able to secure a No. 50 placement in the 2022 official ballot for the 2022 elections. 'This is a good number' according to Rep. Alfred de los Santos, because it is easy to remember. The number 50 is a significant number and mentioned so many times in the Bible, he said. Even in numerology, it symbolizes a master of change, the representative added. De los Santos, in his freshman experience in the 18th Congress, said the party-list stayed true to its core as the representative of probinsyanos (people from the provinces). Ang Probinsyano party-list, he added, delivered much-needed infrastructure projects to remote areas. De los Santos said the group was the first to file a resolution for the investigation of a controversy surrounding the special risk allowance for health workers.
