BSP warns public vs communist terrorist financing

THE Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) is urging the public and its supervised financial institutions (BSFIs) to report any forced or unlawful fund collection by communist terrorists.

In Circular Letter 2021-100, the BSP disseminated an Anti-Money Laundering Council's (AMLC) warning against providing financial and material support to the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF).
