SM scholar alumnus Joshua Mangila ranked 4th at the recent Civil Engineer licensure examination, proving that dreams do come true so long as one puts one's mind to it.

His achievement is especially sweet. Though an only child of a hardware store worker and a housewife from Caloocan City, the new engineer is no stranger to economic hardships. But through hard work, and with the help of the SM Scholarship Program, Mangila was able to finish his degree in civil engineering at the Far Eastern University Institute of Technology.
