THE National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) of the Department of Science and Technology (DoST) truly dished out a day of virtual learning and adventure on Nov. 25, 2021 as three renowned Filipino scientists shared their knowledge and experience in the field of earth science. This activity aimed to enhance the awareness of youth participants and encourage them to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.

The panel speakers included Associate Professor Betchaida Payot of the University of the Philippines Diliman, Jeffrey Perez of the DoST's Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, and academician Fernando Siringan of DoST-NAST.
