LOCAL government units (LGU) across the country have been advised by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) to prepare for the onslaught of severe tropical storm "Odette" (International name: "Rai"), which entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Tuesday.
In a public briefing on Tuesday, NDRRMC spokesman Mark Cashean Timbal said that aside from its advisory to the LGUs, the agency has readied its relief items, teams for search and rescue, and road clearing units to aid possible casualties of Odette.
