PNP, LGUs brace for 'Odette' impact in affected areas

THE Philippine National Police (PNP) has coordinated with local government units (LGUs) and other concerned agencies to be on alert for Tropical Cyclone Odette.

'We have our troops on standby as support forces in case of emergencies. If there is a need for the PNP to assist in the safe evacuation of residents living in hazard-prone areas, then they count on us,' PNP Chief, Gen. Dionardo Carlos, said.
