SWS: Adult joblessness drops in 2021 at 24.8%

AROUND 11.9 million Filipinos or 24.8 percent of the adult labor force were reported to be jobless, according to the September 2021 survey of the Social Weather Stations (SWS).

This was 14.7 percent lower than in the same period in 2020, and is also slightly lower than the recorded 27.6 percent last quarter, in June 2021.
