No standard bearer yet for PDP-Laban after Go drops out of presidential race

THE Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) backed by President Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday said it would soon endorse a new standard bearer who will continue the administration's 'agenda of change.'

Melvin Matibag, secretary general of PDP-Laban led by Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi, made the statement after Duterte's preferred successor Sen. Christopher Lawrence 'Bong' Go formally withdrew his candidacy for president on Tuesday.
