Leni proposes poll centers for BPO employees

VICE President Maria Leonor 'Leni' Robredo will request the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to open polling centers for BPO (business process outsourcing) employees during the 2022 elections.

In a consultative meeting with BPO executives and with former Cebu City mayor Tomas 'Tommy' Osmeña at the Harold's Hotel in Cebu City on Monday, Robredo said she wants to make sure that BPO employees are not disenfranchised since they may not be able to vote due to the nature of their work.
