PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte insisted the Philippines is "still good friends" with China despite the tension brought by a territorial tug-of-war in the South China (West Philippine) Sea.
This, according to the Chief Executive, is because of the Chinese government's assistance to the country's pandemic response, particularly its donations of anti-coronavirus vaccines.
