Bong Go is not a modern-day Andres Bonifacio

WHEN he announced that he was withdrawing from the 2022 presidential race, Sen. Christopher Lawrence 'Bong' Go somehow likened himself to Andres Bonifacio whom he described as 'the president who never was.'

Just because he made the unsurprising announcement on the commemoration of the revolutionary leader's 158th birthday, November 30, does not make him a modern-day Andres Bonifacio.
