Following reports of hacked BDO Unibank Inc. accounts, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said it is closely coordinating with the bank for possible reimbursements.

BSP Governor Benjamin Diokno in a Viber message to reporters said the central bank has been monitoring the surge in complaints posted in social media platforms since the early part of this week. Meanwhile, the Bankers Association of the Philippines (BAP) urged the public to be more vigilant due to the rising number of cybercrime incidents.
