PWDs' access to health and education

THE lack of access to appropriate health and education programs ranks high among social issues that adversely affect Filipino persons with disabilities (PWDs) today. There are enabling laws, policies and programs to address these issues, but sadly they are not enough to make a difference in the lives of millions of Filipino PWDs, according to an October 2021 research commissioned by The Asia Foundation.
