Russia-based Tinkoff Group remains committed to its planned expansion into the Philippines by pursuing a commercial banking license in the country.
In a statement on Tuesday, the group quoted its co-chief executive officer, Oliver Hughes, as saying in an interview that Tinkoff picked the Philippines because of the prospects for boosting financial inclusion.
