TWO national finalists — Catherine Li,14, and Pauline Aguila, 23 — represented the Philippines in the International Grand Finals of the 2021 Kayserburg International Youth Piano Competition, which culminated on Nov. 15, 2021 with over 2,000 entrants from 10 participating host countries under the Overseas Group: the United States, Canada, Singapore, the Philippines, Australia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Ecuador, Poland and Iran.

This was the Philippines' second time to participate in the International Grand Finals of the biennial Kayserburg International Youth Piano Competition.
