THE number of unemployed Filipinos fell to 3.50 million in October from 3.81 million a year ago, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said.
In a briefing on Tuesday, National Statistician Dennis Mapa said that based on the preliminary results of the latest Labor Force Survey (LFS), the number of out-of-work individuals translates to an unemployment rate of 7.4 percent, down from the 8.7 percent seen in October last year.
