Concepcion: Omicron makes mandatory jabs crucial

THE emergence of the Omicron variant has highlighted the need to speed up and scale up the country's vaccination program, Presidential Adviser for Entrepreneurship Jose Maria 'Joey' Concepcion 3rd said on Tuesday.

Concepcion made the statement as he expressed support for the government's decision to make Covid-19 tests mandatory for on-site workers as well as a proposal to make vaccination mandatory in the country.
