6 private armed groups, terror organizations under police watch

PHILIPPINE National Police Chief Gen. Dionardo Carlos on Wednesday disclosed that they were currently monitoring six active Private Armed Groups (PAGS) and other terrorist organizations that may pose a threat to the 2022 elections.

'Aside from these, there are also about 138 potential PAGS that are under our monitoring. Now that the election is fast approaching, we might expect that these groups may be activated,' Carlos said in a statement.
