DESPITE faster bank loan growth, the country's money supply rose at a moderate rate in October, according to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
Domestic liquidity (M3) increased by 8.2 percent year on year to P14.6 trillion in October, the central bank reported in a statement released on Tuesday, which was slower than the revised 8.3-percent uptick in September. Month on month and seasonally adjusted, M3 jumped by 0.7 percent.
