Free continuing medical education resources rolled out in PH

WITH a shared mission to transform cardiovascular and noncommunicable disease (NCD) care and improve health in the Asia-Pacific region, the American College of Cardiology (ACC) has partnered with the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians (PAFP), the largest national organization of family and community medicine practitioners in the country, for the rollout of the NCD Academy in the Philippines.

The NCD Academy is a user-friendly, interactive and web-based platform, designed to equip health care professionals at the primary care level with educational resources and skills to enhance their ability to prevent and treat NCDs.

Representatives from the American College of Cardiology, officers and executive committee members of the Philippine Academy of Filipino Physicians, and representatives from health care company Viatris are present to witness the virtual signing of the rollout of NCD Academy in the Philippines.
