IT'S all systems go for the Bureau of Immigration (BI) for the eventual reopening of Philippine borders to foreign tourists amid the continuous drop in Covid-19 cases in the country.
Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente said on Wednesday that the bureau's manpower and corresponding facilities were on standby and fully prepared if the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) would give its go signal to allow the entry of foreign tourists in the country.
