House panel opens probe on hazing death of Maritime Academy student

THE House of Representatives committee on Technical and Higher Education has launched an investigation in aid of legislation into the hazing death of a student from the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA).

Rep. Lawrence Fortun made the request after the family of Cadet 4th Class Jonash Bondoc sent screenshots of what allegedly happened to him.
