Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) released a total of 90 units of Hilux 4x4 G A/T personnel carriers and dispatched an initial 127 of 411 units of Hilux 4x2 police patrol jeeps to the Philippine National Police (PNP) at a meaningful ceremony for blessing the units, held at the PNP headquarters in Camp Crame last Nov. 8, 2021.
PNP chief Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar and National Police Commission (Napolcom) Vice Chairman Vitaliano Aguirre 2nd were present during the blessing of the Hilux units. These vehicles were to be dispatched to different regions in the country to help serve PNP's day-to-day operations.
